If you’re interested in challenging yourself, sign up for a 5K run. Like its name suggests, a 5K is a long-distance race that stretches over an area of five kilometers (or 3.107 miles). Rec and Parks Run Virtual 5K
Join Baltimore City Recreation and Parks for the Rec and Parks 5K in July. Once you sign up online, you can participate from anywhere in the world between Friday, July 9th and Sunday, July 11th.
Fall Into Fitness Virtual 5K
Continue training with the Fall Into Fitness Virtual 5K in September. You have to complete this race between Friday, September 24th and Sunday, September 26th. Make sure to report your results online.
Zombie Zoom Virtual 5K
Celebrate Halloween with a great workout. The Zombie Zoom Virtual 5K takes place between Friday, October 29th and Sunday, October 31st. Costumes are highly encouraged.
Trot the Trail Virtual 5K
If you’re still up for more 5K races by November, we’ll consider you hooked! In fact, you’ll probably be a pro at these virtual runs by the time the Trot the Trail 5K comes around. This Thanksgiving-themed race occurs between Friday, November 19th and Sunday, November 21st. So before you get ready to dig in on your holiday feast, sign up for this fun race.
Reindeer Run Virtual 5K
To finish up the year, register for the Reindeer Run. This winter-themed race is the perfect way to close out 2021. It takes place between Friday, December 3rd and Sunday, December 5th. Top runners will be awarded prizes from both Baltimore City Recreation and Parks, as well as Charm City Run.
