Slainte Irish Pub & Restaurant: 4-minute drive
Voted the best soccer bar in Baltimore, Slainte offers the best sports watching in the city. Sports begin at 7:00 AM and Sundays bring rounds of trivia. The area’s best local bands take to the stage on various days of the week. Slainte gained recognition on Diners, Drive-ins & Dives when Guy Fieri highlighted the traditional corned beef made with a twist. Other delicious offerings include Irish cheesesteak sandwiches, fish & chips, and bangers & mash.
James Joyce Restaurant: 5-minute drive
Called the home of Baltimore’s Irish hospitality, James Joyce is the perfect place to enjoy an authentic meal. The cozy atmosphere beckons diners on a cold winter’s night with good food and great music. Musicians perform throughout the week. On trivia nights, teams play against other patrons and maybe even some staff. In the kitchen, chefs prepare meals from the finest, freshest ingredients. Choices include shepherd’s pie, beer-battered fish & chips, and corned beef & cabbage.
Delia Foley’s: 10-minute drive
As Federal Hill’s newest Irish pub, Delia Foley’s claims it’s not Sunday football without wings and beer. It offers 35 different flavors and took first place in Baltimore’s Wing Wars event. The pub is a favorite late-night dining destination. Visitors can watch sports until 1:00 AM Monday through Saturday and the vibrant setting comes complete with bright red walls and Irish flags. Along with the wings, other dishes include classic mac & cheese, Guinness-battered fish tacos, and corned beef egg rolls.
