Pick Up Groceries at Baltimore’s Own Eddie’s of Roland Park

two people shopping at a grocery store

Just 26 minutes from our Fells Point apartments is a landmark that has called Baltimore home since 1944.

We are talking about Eddie’s of Roland Park, and it can meet all of your grocery needs.

The store is known for its legendary crab cakes, and departments include:

Delicatessen

Called the best deli by customers and critics alike, the delicatessen features made-to-order sandwiches that have been a lunchtime favorite for generations. The meats are roasted in-house, and there are dozens of specialty sandwiches to choose from. Cloak and Dagger is not to be missed, and it features turkey or corned beef, Swiss, coleslaw, and Russian dressing. It’s served on rye and can be enjoyed with a chopped salad.

Meat & Seafood

In the Meat & Seafood department, Steve Miller and his dedicated team of butchers offer everything from custom cuts to recipe suggestions that don’t disappoint. Shoppers find the city’s best selection of USDA Prime, along with lamb, poultry, and wild-caught fish. To make dinnertime easier, pick up the oven-ready meatloaf or bacon-wrapped sea scallops.

Bakery

The bakers and pastry chefs start their day early as they make everything from scratch. They only use the finest, freshest ingredients, and are known for their lemon and pumpkin bars. Other delectable treats include brownies, chocolate mousse, and traditional European handmade apple cakes. Celebrating a special occasion? Ask about the custom cakes. They come in a variety of flavors and can be decorated any way you like.

Produce Stand

The Produce Stand features items from our own backyard and around the world. Several of the offerings are seasonal, including those from the cornfields of the Eastern Shore and the orchards of Western Maryland. There’s also a salad bar where shoppers find an array of ingredients to create a signature salad.

Eddie’s of Roland Park is just one of the many shopping destinations near our apartments in Baltimore. To call our community home, please contact us. We would love to arrange a personalized tour.
